Access Control 3.5 - Adding Employees To Existing Access Groups

This article assumes that you have already created groups to allow/disallow access through your clocks/doors  Instructions Here

First you will need to create your employee(s) in the Clockrite software  Adding Employees Instructions

and send the names to the clock(s)  Sending Employees To The Clock

***ONCE THIS IS DONE ALL ACCESS LEVELS WILL BE RESET BACK TO DEFAULT SETTINGS***
***THE FOLLOWING MUST BE PERFORMED TO RESTORE THE SETTINGS***

Start Access Control 3.x

Go to DEVICE

Select the device(s)

GET PERSONNEL DATA FROM DEVICE

Now go to the ACCESS CONTROL section

On the left hand panel, select ACCESS LEVELS

Double click the Access Level you want.

Select the employee you wish to move into the group and press the > arrow to move across. 

If prompted SYNC the data

Do the same for any other groups you require

Finally go back to the DEVICE option

Select the Device(s) and select the option to SYNC ALL DATA TO DEVICE
