C400 - Factors Affecting Clocking Verification

Some factors can affect the ability of employees being able to clock in/out using the C400 terminals.

If the initial registration was made on a desk and the clock is later mounted on a wall, then you may encounter issues.

If you register at one height, then try to clock in out at a different height, then you may encounter issues

If you register your face a 0.5m from the clock, then attempt to clock in/out at a distance the camera cannot recognise, then you may encounter issues

Lighting can also affect the ability to clock in/out.  If the lighting is much darker than during the initial registration then you may encounter issues

Finally if there is a light source shining directly towards the camera on the unit then you may get a shadowing effect or glare that will effect the scanning process
