Downloading Attendance Data from C400KF via USB

You will need to be at the clocking terminal,

have the Admin Card with you

and USB stick with a memory of NO MORE THAN 8Gb.

***PLEASE NOTE THAT DOWNLOADING VIA USB DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY DELETE THE ATTENDANCE DATA, UNLIKE NETWORK DOWNLOADS. THIS MUST BE DONE MANUALLY. IF YOU DO NOT DELETE THE ATTENDANCE DATA THE USB FILE SIZE WILL INCREASE WITH EACH DOWNLOAD MAKING THE IMPORT PROCESS SLOW***

Plug the USB into the port on the left hand side of the terminal.

Press the Menu button, then swipe the Admin card when the padlock symbol displays.

Select USB Manager

Select DOWNLOAD

Select ATTENDANCE DATA (unless advised otherwise, DO NOT select any other options)

In the next screen you can select the download period you would like.

We suggest you scroll down and ALWAYS select the ALL option.

When the download is complete you can then take the USB out of the clock and download the data into the ClockRite software. This video explains that process.

You can press the ESC key to exit the menus. If you forget, the clock will lock its self after 30 seconds.
