How Decimal time compares to hours and minutes

Many of the Reports in the ClockRite Software use decimal time instead of hours and minutes.

Decimal time format is used because it allows for easier transmission of data to payroll systems and spreadsheets, though it can be a little confusing at first glance.

For Example: 8.75 in decimal time translates to 8 and three quarter hours, or 8 hours and 45 minutes. A decimal time of 8.07, meanwhile, would equate to 8 hours and 4 minutes.

The chart below details the difference between Hours and Minutes and decimal time.
