Registering Facial Profiles (C400) (GDPR)

Registering Facial Profiles on the C400 Clocking Terminal

Please ensure you have created your Employee Profiles in the ClockRite Software and sent them to the Clocking Terminal before attempting to register Facial Profiles.

You'll need your Admin Card

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ADMIN PROFILE MUST NOT BE DELETED FROM THE CLOCK. IF DELETED, YOU MAY LOSE ALL DATA.

1

Press the Menu button and swipe the Admin card in front of the keypad to access the Admin Menu

2

Select the 'User Mgt' icon and press M/OK

3

Select 'All User' and press  M/OK

4
Use the arrow keys to navigate the list of users to find the person you intend to enrol. If you know the ID number of the person you wish to enrol you can search for them using the keypad, pressing M/OK to confirm.
Steps 5 to 7 must be followed for each user you wish to enrol.
5

Use the arrow keys to select the 'Face' option and press M/OK

6

The user will then be prompted to focus their eyes inside the green box. The green box will move down the screen as part of this process, and the user should step back from the Terminal slightly in order to keep their eyes inside it. We recommend that users remove spectacles, hats, and other headgear during registration and clocking

We recommend standing an arm’s length away from the wall as we have found this generates the best facial registration templates
7

Once the user has been registered the Terminal will show Enrolled Successfully.

A User Photo is automatically registered while enrolling a users face, This is not needed for the user to clock in and can be deleted following the below instructions.

If your company GDPR policy prohibits storing an employees photo it is important that the below steps are followed to delete this from the clock.

A. Press Esc

B. Select the 'Delete' option and press M/OK

C. Select the 'Delete user Photo Only' option and press M/OK,  Select 'OK' to Confirm and press M/OK,

The 'Delete User Photo Only' should now have vanished showing that the selected user now has no User Photo registered
