Moving A C400 & Router

Typically the C400 (facial terminal) and 3g Router will be mounted on a wall.

The removal steps are detailed below.

***BEFORE YOU BEGIN***

First ensure you have downloaded any data.

Next turn the power off to the clock and 3g router

----------------------------------

You should have the following items;

1. Clock PSU (12v 1.5a) - DO NOT SWAP WITH 3G ROUTER PSU

2. C400 Facial Clocking Terminal

3. Ethernet/Network cable to connect clock to 3g router

4. 3g Router

5. 3g Router PSU (12v 1a) - DO NOT SWAP WITH CLOCKING TERMINAL PSU

6. Aerial for 3g Router

The C400 facial terminal sits on a triangular mounting plate.  There is a small security screw at the bottom of the clock.  Remove this first.

You will need a security head screwdriver.  If you do not have one please let us know and we will get one to you.

Once the screw is removed the clock should now lift off the backplate

You will see an Ethernet cable and the power supply.  Remove these.

The triangular backplate is held in place with up to 3 mounting screws.  Remove these.

Depending on the location the 3g router may be placed on a bench or screwed to a wall.

If it is on a wall simply remove the screws holding it in place.

You should not need to remove the aerial, ethernet cable or PSU connection.  But you can if required.

If you need to re-install the equipment at a new location simple follow the steps above in reverse.
