Employee Fingerprint Clocks In The Wrong Person
This issue occurs when users do not follow the correct Download/Upload procedure with the USB memory stick.
To rectify this, please follow these instructions.
This will delete all employee info from the clock and ALL fingerprints will need to be re-registered
Plug your USB stick into you computer.
In Windows, navigate to the USB stick.
Delete the following files from the USB stick (
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)
Open Clockrite
Click on
Clock/Clock Operations
Click on
Open Clock Download Utility
Select “
USB Stick Colour” from the Send Employees option
Click
Send.
Save this file to the USB stick.
This will ensure the correct user data is on the USB stick.
Unplug the USB stick and take it to the Clock (you will also need the Admin card)
If you have more than one clock, designate one as the master and ensure that all fingerprints are registered on to this clock.
STAGE 1
ALL USERS
At the Clock/Master Clock
Press
M/OK
Swipe the Admin card
Navigate to
System and press
M/OK
Navigate to
Data Mng and press
M/OK
Select
Delete All and press M/OK
THIS DELETES ALL EMPLOYEES FROM THE CLOCK
If your clock reboots this is normal
Press
M/OK
Swipe the
Admin card
If your clock has not rebooted press Esc to go back the main menu screen
Navigate to
Pendrv and press
M/OK
Select
Upload
Select
Upload Users
This uploads the correct user data to the clock.
****You will then need to re-register ALL fingerprints.****
STAGE 2
ONLY FOR USERS WITH MORE THAN ONE CLOCK
At the MASTER clock
Ensure the USB stick is plugged in!
Press
M/OK
Swipe the Admin card
Navigate to
Pendrv and press
M/OK
Select
Download
Select
Download Users
Remove the USB Stick
Go to the 2nd clock
Plug the USB stick in
Press
M/OK
Swipe the Admin card
Navigate to
Pendrv and press
M/OK
Select
Upload
Select
Upload Users
At this point all users and fingerprints will be uploaded to this clock.
Repeat stage 2 for any additional clocks that you may have.
