Port Forwarding Example

If your Clockrite terminal is located at a remote site and you do not have a network or VPN between the sites then data can be sent to/from the Clockrite terminal via the Internet.

To do this there are some steps that MUST be adhered to.

The remote site MUST have a Static Broadband IP address.  This can be provided by your ISP (Internet Service Provider)

Port Forwarding MUST be setup on the remote router.  Port 4370 TPC and 4370 UDP must be forwarded to the local IP address of the Clockrite terminal.  This is something your IT support can help with.

The Clockrite terminal must have the correct IP address, Subnet and Gateway information.
