Choosing a Suitable Location

  • Keep the Clock a suitable distance away from any extreme source of light to ensure perfect lighting conditions.
  • The recommended height of installation is 1.5m (to the mark on the back plate or the provided mounting sticker). Although if the average height of your staff is higher/lower, then you may install 5cm +/-.
  • We recommend that Employees stand up to 1.2m away from the Clock when they want to make a clocking… However, the Clock can be effective up to 2.5m away.

Installing the Terminal

Please test that your Clock powers on before initiating installation…

Once you have found a suitable location for your Clock:

  1. Attach the mounting template sticker to the wall, ensuring that the height to the highlighted line is 1.5m from the ground, and drill holes (8mm drill bit) according to the template (you can use as little or as many as you wish).
  2. Bore a hole for the Clock’s wiring to go through for Power / Ethernet connection etc.
  3. Insert the rawl plugs into the screw holes you have just drilled (you may use your own).
  4. Fix the Backplate to the wall using the screws provided (you may use your own).
  5. Pull the Power cable for the Clock through the hole you bored in step 2. (You may also pull through an Ethernet cable if your Clock is not going to be on your WiFi).
  6. Plug your Clock into the Power / Ethernet.
  7. Attach the Clock to the Backplate and fix in place with the provided retaining screw at the bottom of the Clock.
  8. Once you are happy that everything is working, you may remove the protective film covering the Clock.
